Jack H. Brown College of Business & Public Administration
The Entrepreneurship program is housed in the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration, a $26-million building completed in 1994. Named for Jack H. Brown, CEO of Stater Bros. Markets who built a small family owned grocery store operation to a Fortune 500 company that is the largest privately-owned supermarket chain in California. The JHBC is fully accredited by the AACSB and NASPAA and is one of the leading business schools in Southern California. The mission of the college is as an applied business program plays a key role in developing an educated and entrepreneurial workforce that in turn enables the community to attract and keep quality jobs in the region. Providing over 17 concentrations in both undergraduate and graduate degree programs, with campuses in San Bernardino and Palm Desert, the JHBC has produced over 13,000 graduates--the majority of whom live and work in the growing and booming economy of Southern California.
The CSUSB Entrepreneurship program maintains its own state of the art, dedicated classroom for entrepreneurship students. Located in the "west wing" of Jack Brown Hall along with the faculty and staff offices of the Entrepreneurship program, CSUSB's Entrepreneurship classroom comfortably seats up to 40 students in both conference room and lecture style format and allows for learning in large and small groups. Featuring executive chairs (every seat with power for laptop computers), a full wireless node in the class, and an array of instructional technology including a 60" plasma screen presentation monitor, sound system, and fully equipped wireless student computer lab, the Entrepreneurship classroom provides Entrepreneurship students with the finest and most professional instructional faculty at Cal State San Bernardino. In addition, Entrepreneurship students have access to two dedicated meeting rooms for Entrepreneurship students and a student lounge, as well access to the full facilities of the College of Business and Public Administration.
